Yoga | Mum and Baby Yoga
A little bit about me:
I discovered yoga after an injury, whilst training for the London Marathon left me seeking alternative ways of exercising. I soon discovered the benefits that a regular practice had to offer, particularly an improvement in balancing all areas of my life; keeping physically strong whilst maintaining a calm mind. Now, life with 2 little boys is all about a juggling act and yoga gives me a quiet space to escape the hectic reality of London life!
I didn't start out on a career path in health & fitness; my background is in food, wine & hospitality! I now try to find balance between my favourite things; enjoying a healthy lifestyle through yoga & daily exercise whilst enjoying food, wine and socialising & family; everything in moderation, as they say!
I am motivated by:
Being able to contribute to helping a new mum get back to exercise. It is crucial for new mammas to be able to get out, move their bodies, quieten their minds and provide them a safe space to do so. This is why pregnancy and post-natal yoga have become my favourite classes to teach - I am hands on and love to take the babies if it helps mum enjoy a few moments alone to practise to breath!
