A little bit about me:
My yoga journey began 10 years ago when I was training to be an actor. Having always had a tendency to overthink everything, I loved how yoga grounded my focus and concentration and brought my attention back into my body. In 2015 I moved to an office job in order to regain some security and consistency, it was then I really deepened my commitment to my yoga practice. I then came to realise that it was in fact yoga, and not my office job, that was giving me steadiness and grounding and that I wanted to share that with others as a teacher.
Certainly yoga, fitness and nutrition, also equality, politics and reducing stress. I also love singing, musical theatre, animals, cycling and cooking veggie food.
I am motivated by:
Having struggled a lot with anxiety myself, when I see the effect on stress on society as a whole it makes me so determined to help others to slow down and connect to their bodies. Nothing motivates me more than seeing my students reap the benefits of yoga in their bodies and mind.
Something you don't know about me:
I love doing accents and impressions and I have a bit of a knack for animal noises- just don't ask me to do them in class!
